Who Can Attend?

Any adult (18 or older) who has been diagnosed with cancer. We will give new campers first priority, and then return campers will be taken until we have filled up the rooms. Campers are only eligible to go once a year. We are limited on space, so it is very important to let us know if you will not be able to attend. This way, we can let someone else come.

Where Will I Be Staying?

Campers are accommodated in single occupancy rooms in a hotel-styled facility. Each room has a bathroom with a shower and vanity. Handicapped accessible rooms are also available. The location varies, but will be within a 50-75 mile radius.

What Do I Need to Bring?

Campers should bring toiletry items, comfortable clothing and walking shoes. Campers are asked to leave all valuables at home.

Who are the Volunteers?

The volunteer staff are members of the St. Vincent’s cancer team, professionals from other oncology programs and community volunteers. The staff may include nurses, social workers, dieticians, pastoral care associates and auxiliary members.
